Here is how my home-made metronome looks like.
This can also be made in any other DAW or sequencer (Cubase, Logic, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Soundtrap, Studio One, Cakewalk, etc.)
Tracks:
- Audio 1 is for recording my instrument (if I’m working on an LJS assignment or want to liston to how I played)
- Bass is a MIDI (software) instrument – Here I can write the bass notes to help me practice scales
- Drums is a virtual drummer – I usually let him play brushes and hihat on 2&4
- 10 different metronome tracks – These are actually drum-tracks as well, playing hihat or other percussive sounds on different beats.
